New Student enrollment for TK- 8 is now open. Please see important dates below for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten. If your student (TK-8) is new to SMUSD for the 2025-2026 school year, click here to begin the registration process:
 

2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten registration begins on  February 1, 2025 .

Many of our schools fill their Kindergarten classes quickly. We encourage you to roll your child as soon as possible. 

Kindergarten is available for students who turn 5 years old on or before September 1st.

Please note per Board policy: Transitional Kindergarten is only available for students who turn 4 years old on or before  September 1, 2025.

Only these birthdays will be accepted.
