Ms. Alexandra Pugh 

I am so honored to be taking on the role as Assistant Principal at Double Peak this year! I have been part of DPS since the beginning, serving on the original leadership team and working with colleagues and administration to help shape the vision for our school, before the building was even constructed. It has been incredible to watch Double Peak grow into the amazing school it is today. 

This is my 19th year in education, all within SMUSD, across several school sites. For the past six years, I have served as a Literacy Teacher on Special Assignment, partnering with school and district leadership to support student literacy and provide professional development across the district.  

When I’m not with our DPS Suns, I love traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. I have a 13 year old son who has one more year here at DPS. I am so fortunate to have experienced firsthand the positive impact our school and staff has had on his education. I’m excited for the year ahead and for all that we will accomplish together at Double Peak!
