What a privilege it is to be a part of the Double Peak community. This year marks the beginning of my seventh school year as principal and my twentieth year in San Marcos Unified. My career has consisted of teaching Special Education and serving as an Assistant Principal at a K-8 school within SMUSD, making it a natural transition to serve as the proud principal of DPS!

DPS has a strong commitment to student achievement and success. You can be assured that our staff is unwavering in our desire to seek the best for all students. Our staff holds student safety and well-being as our primary concern. We deeply value the trust families instill in us to maintain a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment.

Outside of school, I am a busy mother and wife. I have two daughters who keep our family on the move with sports and school activities, including my daughter who is currently playing Division 1 soccer at Long Beach State! When we aren't cheering on the sidelines, our family loves to travel, explore new places, and root for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Although I was born and raised in Northern California, San Diego has proudly been my home for the last twenty-six years.
